Ask for current Pictures of Sire, Dam and Puppies.
Ask for PROOF of OFA, THYROID, and CERF of the PARENTS.
If at all possible, visit the Breeder BEFORE you purchase.
Do not rush into buying an Akita! They are NOT the breed for everyone.
Make sure you research the breed and the breeders first. Check out Akita Rescue organizations.
